Happy Monday Everyone! I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and weekend. I know mine was filled with lots of get togethers with family and friends. Of course this meant many different outfits so I thought I would put them all together in one post although I have been trying to keep you all up to date on instagram!
I wore the dress I actually wore for my engagement pictures on Christmas Eve. It is a floral purple Free People dress which is my favorite dress I own. It has multiple layers which makes it so fun to twirl and a really cute opening in the back. Since the weather was so warm this weekend it was the perfect dress and I did not even need a jacket which was amazing for Christmas Eve in the North East. We go to my aunt and uncle’s house in Delaware which is always one of my favorite nights of the year since all our family attends. Just a great night of good food, drinks, and family.
On Christmas morning my mother, sister, and I all wore our matching polar bear pajamas which were so comfortable. We decided it would be fun to do this every year which I love because you can never have enough pajamas. We then went to my sister and brother in law’s for Christmas Dinner and again, it was crazy warm so I pulled out this quilted black mini dress which I scored from the Loft on Black Friday for super cheap. I actually think its even cheaper now online. The dress is a great material and super soft. I decided to pair it with my OTK boots because I do not think I have taken them off all December (true story).
The day after Christmas I met up with two of my best friends from high school for brunch at the cutest restaurant in a town called Collingswood, NJ. Sabrina’s has always been a popular spot in Philadelphia and I was super excited when I found out they started one in Collingswood. It got a little colder this day so I had to layer my chambray dress with my festive plaid jacket which I got last year. This is definitely a coat I am so glad I wore even if it wasn’t a necessity at the time. It is such a statement piece.
Finally, I ran a bunch of errands with my sister and nephew, Milo on Sunday. We had the best day going from store to store with Milo thanking those at the checkout line and then giving me the biggest hug for getting him an Auntie Ann’s pretzel. He is the cutest and I am an obsessed aunt. I wore a maxi dress (which has been featured on the blog before) and when I would typically put a leather coat over this in the winter, wore a floral printed Kimono which had a similar color scheme so I thought it worked! On Sunday’s I definitely like to wear something comfortable and when running errands, always gravitate towards a maxi dress.
Now I am busy planning my outfit for New Year’s and am excited to celebrate at my friend’s in Philadelphia. How was everyone else’s holiday and Christmas? Thank you again for everyone that is following and all the encouragement! Have a great week, friends!
