There is nothing like the realization that Fall is almost here! I have been busy getting my classroom together all week which has been no easy task! I have also been planning my back to school outfits for the first couple of days with the help of Maggy London. When putting together my back to school wardrobe, I often start out with sleeveless or short sleeve looks because it is still so hot outside . However, as soon as it gets cooler (or the air conditioning gets crazy), I look for styles with sleeves that do not scream winter but slowly ease me away from summer! The hardest part of this collaboration was honestly choosing which dress from all the pretty styles and patterns. The London Times collection has so many dresses that are perfect for back to school! These dresses were exactly what I was looking for as I enter the classroom!
The London Time Ilsa Shift from Maggy London‘s London Times line is a dress any k-12 teacher could wear year-round. I love the fun geometric pattern and it is extremely comfortable. The 3/4 sleeves on the Ilsa are perfect for this time of year and the boat neckline is great for teachers since we are constantly bending down to help students throughout the day.
I would wear this dress with flats, wedges, or ankle boots throughout the school year. It would also be perfect with cute over-the-knee boots for a more casual look! You could get so many uses out of this dress!
The Noel Fit and Flare is another dress I adore. A black dress is a staple in every teacher’s closet because it is so flattering and makes for an easy decision in the morning! Fit and flare is also my favorite dress style. I can’t help that this silouette just makes me want to twirl.
I love the lace sleeves which add such a pretty detail to the dress and make it work appropriate. This dress would be perfect for a Back to School Night because of the style and did I mention how comfortable it is? I would pair it with pretty black flats, wedges, or ankle boots. Also, if you are brave enough to wear heels to school (expert tip: bring flats!), ones with a pop of color would be so fun!
If you have not already, be sure to check out these dresses and more with the Maggy London teacher shop. There is even a quiz to find out your exact teacher style. You can find that quiz here and I promise it is so easy!
Finally, Maggy London is having an exciting giveaway where you can win the grand prize of 5 dresses, a $500 Maggy London Classroom Makeover, and more. It is such an awesome opportunity to celebrate teachers at the start of the school year so make sure you enter and nominate your favorite teacher. You can enter here!
Look for one more post at the start of next week with my Maggy London takeover where I explore what styles are best depending on what grade level you teach!
I can’t believe Monday is my first day of school. Are you ready? Here is to a busy week getting prepared to meet my new 4th graders! I can’t wait to meet them!

I absolutely love this post! That black dress is calling my name! I also love the idea of a post on styles for different grade levels and am looking forward to that post!
