There is nothing like summer vacation as a teacher.
This week my family rented a house in Ocean City, NJ which is an annual vacation for us. Ocean City is known on the east coast as the perfect family beach and I have to say I agree. It is filled with lots of beach time, bike rides, boardwalk, margaritas, movies, and card games. Oh, and lots of laughs! I am also excited that my 2 year old nephew, Milo will be joining us all week. I am amazed by all the words and phrases he can say. I am not lying when I say he can have a steady conversation about almost anything. He is the smarted kid I know (I might be a little biased!) but seriously he is the best and I am wondering if he is going to like the beach this year because last year you would have thought the sand was quicksand.
This year, I packed a lot of fun beach cover-ups for the shore because they are so versatile. This caftan is old from the Loft last year and I bought it to bring on our honeymoon. I wish they made the same exact one this year because I would tell y’all all to run out and buy it. It’s the perfect beach cover up. I wanted to share a couple other options that the Loft has this season. Is it me, or is the Loft really killing it this summer with their dresses and beach cover-ups?

I love the detail in this tasseled version. You can never go wrong with tassel detail on a dress in my book. Especially in the summer.
Finally, this beach floral lace up cover up could definitely be worn out to a beach bar or even a summer picnic at that with no worries.
