Philadelphia Blogger Brunch

Last Monday I got together with some other lovely bloggers in the Philadelphia area for brunch. After moving here from Raleigh and just starting my blog, I had not met many other girls who were blogging in the area. Needless to say, I was thrilled the morning I got an email from Carly about a Philadelphia Blogger Brunch at Terrain in Glen Mills, PA.

I had never been to Terrain but heard how gorgeous it was. When I arrived, I seriously could not get over the pretty landscape and design of the whole area including the store. The outside was a picture in itself and I could see why Carly picked the location. Our brunch was located in the Mushroom House at Terrain which was the cutest room outside the cafe and shop in which they often have wedding events. I could see why!

When we walked in, we were greeted with the sweetest sign that said, “Bloggers locally rooted, helping each other grow” which could not have been stated better. I admit I was a bit nervous when I arrived because I had not met any of these girls before but the minute I walked into the room I felt like we had all been friends forever. It was so nice to meet such genuine ladies who want to help one another and be a part of a community.

Over brunch we got to know each other not just on a professional level, but a personal level. So many of the girls are wonderful mothers and I loved hearing their family stories. It was also so nice to be able to talk to other bloggers who get all the details behind all the little things that go behind posting on instagram and a blog. Between discussing about our instagram husbands, jobs, photo shoots, and family life we had a lot of laughs over the delicious farm to table food.

Of course, we then went shopping and I wanted to bring everything from Terrain home with me. It is seriously the best place to go get a thoughtful gift for a friend or family member. There were so many amazing smelling candles, soaps, and decorative items for the home. The furniture for sale is also a dream. Honestly, I would also just love to browse the store weekly if I could!

I am so glad I got to meet all these amazing women and I am excited about all the new friendships I made. It is such a great feeling to know there are so many creative and caring ladies nearby who truly want to help each other. I can not wait for the many get together’s to come!
